ODELL 90 SHILLING SCOTCH ALE

Style: Pale Ales, Reds & Others | Draught | ABV 5.3%

We introduced 90 Shilling, our flagship beer, at our opening party in 1989. For a while, we’d been wondering what would happen if we lightened up the traditional Scottish ale? The result is an irresistibly smooth and delicious medium-bodied amber ale. The name 90 Shilling comes from the Scottish method of taxing beer. Only the highest quality beers were taxed 90 Shillings. A shilling was a British coin used from 1549 to 1982. We think you’ll find this original ale brilliantly refreshing, and worth every shilling.

SIERRA NEVADA PALE ALE

Style: Pale Ales, Reds & Others | Draught | ABV 5.6%

Our most popular beer, Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, is a delightful interpretation of a classic style. It has a deep amber color and an exceptionally full-bodied, complex character. Generous quantities of premium Cascade hops give the Pale Ale its fragrant bouquet and spicy flavor. “Sierra Nevada Pale Ale is the flagship beer, the one that made Chico famous. It is a flawless beer that opens with bright, perky high notes of maltiness and orange blossom and segues into a delectable hoppiness.”

ABITA PURPLE HAZE

Style: Wheats, Fruits & Ciders | Draught | ABV 4.2%

Purple Haze is a crisp, American style wheat beer with raspberry puree added after filtration. Therefore, you may see raspberry pulp in the beer. The raspberries provide the lager with a subtle purple coloration and haze, a fruity aroma, and a tartly sweet taste. This beer is best served with salads or light fruit desserts, such as soufflés or chiffon cakes. Many people enjoy it with chocolate desserts. Purple Haze pairs well with certain cheeses, such as ripened Brie or any dessert made with Mascarpone. It’s also great paired with entrees prepared with fruit, especially citrus. Consider enjoying Purple Haze alone at the end of your meal as dessert.

BOULEVARD TANK 7 FARMHOUSE ALE

Style: Pale Ales, Reds & Others | Draught | ABV 8%

Most breweries have at least one piece of equipment that’s just a bit persnickity. Here at Boulevard we have fermenter number seven, the black sheep of our cellar family. Ironically, when our brewers were experimenting with variations on a traditional Belgian-style farmhouse ale, the perfect combination of elements came together in that very vessel. You could call it fate, but they called it Tank 7, and so it is. Beginning with a big surge of fruity aromatics and grapefruit-hoppy notes, the flavor of this complex, straw-colored ale tapers off to a peppery, dry finish.

MOTHER’S STEP DUDE

Style: Lager | Draught | ABV 5%%

Think Mom will say no? Then just ask your Step Dude. Light, dry, and crushable, our American lager is ready to rock with any shenanigans you have planned. Brewed for closing down the club or lazing on a gravel bar, your Step Dude is always good to go.

MOTHER’S LIL’ HELPER

Style: Pale Ales, Reds & Others | Draught | ABV 7%

You’re in for one helluva burly bite. Lil’ Helper is aggressively hopped in both the wort kettle and aging vessel for a sharp, clean bitterness and fragrant citrus hop flavors. We’ve instilled a mellow malt character as the backbone to balance the elevated alcohol and hops levels that IPA lovers crave.

ANGRY ORCHARD

Style: Wheats, Fruits & Ciders | Draught | ABV 5.5%

Our Traditional Dry cider is made in the style of English draft ciders. This cider is bittersweet and slightly spicy with a bright apple aroma. It is a leaner cider with a dry finish and without any juice added to impart extra sweetness.

BIG SKY MOOSE DROOL

Style: Porters, Stouts & Browns | Bottle | ABV 5.1%

Moose Drool is our Brown Ale. Far and away the best selling beer brewed in Montana, Moose Drool is chocolate brown in color with a creamy texture. Our brown ale is a malty beer with just enough hop presence to keep it from being too sweet. The aroma also mostly comes from the malt with a hint of spiciness being added by the hops. Moose Drool is brewed with pale, caramel, chocolate, and whole black malts; and Kent Goldings, Liberty, and Willamette hops. It has an original gravity of 13 degrees Plato, and is 4.2% alcohol by weight, 5.1% by volume.

DESCHUTES BLACK BUTTE PORTER

Style: Porters, Stouts & Browns | Draught | ABV 5.2%

Our flagship beer, Black Butte Porter defined Deschutes as a place intent to follow its own brewing muse. At a time when dark beer was viewed with suspicion, this deep, satiny brew went out and dispelled the myths for a generation of enthusiasts. Black Butte is rich in flavor yet easy to drink, with a creamy, smooth mouth feel. The slight hop bitterness up front only enhances the distinctive chocolate and roasted finish to come. It continues to reap accolades and medals from those who know best.

La Fin du Monde has a brilliant golden color with vigorously effervescent foam. It is midly yeasty with a complex palate of malt, fruit and spice notes followed by a smooth, dry finish. La Fin du Monde was developed through 18 months of research on a unique strain of yeast originating from Europe. It is brewed in honor of the intrepid European explorers who believed they had reached the “end of the world” when they discovered North America ‘the new world’. This triple-style golden ale recreates the style of beer originally developed in the Middle Ages by trappist monks for special occasions and as such it was the first of its kind to be brewed in North America.

BODDINGTONS PUB ALE

Style: Pale Ales, Reds & Others | Bottle | ABV 4.6%

WHITE RIVER TABLE ROCK RED ALE

Style: Pale Ales, Reds & Others | Draught | ABV 7%

This light- to medium-bodied deep copper to brown ale is characterized by a slight to strong lactic sourness, and with “Reds” sometimes a balanced degree of acetic acid. Brettanomyces produced flavors and aromas are not part of character. A fruity-estery character which is often cherry-like is apparent with no hop flavor or aroma. Flanders brown ales have low to medium bitterness and a cocoa-like character from roast malt. Roasted malt character in aroma and flavor is acceptable at low levels. A very low degree of malt sweetness may be present and in balance with the acidity produced by Lactobacillus activity. Oak-like or woody characters may be pleasantly integrated into overall palate. Chill haze is acceptable at low serving temperatures. Some versions may be more highly carbonated and, when bottle conditioned, may appear cloudy (yeast) when served. These final beers are often blended old with new before packaging in order to create the brewer’s intended balance of characters.

ST. BERNARDUS ABT 12

Style: Porters, Stouts & Browns | Bottle | ABV 10%

The absolute top quality in the hierarchy of the St. Bernardus beers. It is also the beer with the highest alcohol content (10.50 %). A dark ivory coloured beer with a high fermentation. A warm velvety soft character beer with a strong taste and long lasting bitter aftertaste – Delirium Nocturnum is the sister Belgian ale to Delirium Tremens. It is a Belgian ale that is strong, complex, with lots of flavour and character. Delirium Nocturnum is a triple fermented beer with re-fermentation in the bottle.

NEGRA MODELO

Style: Porters, Stouts & Browns | Bottle | ABV 5.4%

Negra Modelo has long been the dark beer alternative for Mexican beer drinkers. It has been identified as one of the few surviving examples of Vienna style lager – a style that was largely replaced in European breweries with Oktoberfest, a slightly lighter lager, in the early twentieth century. Negra Modelo pours with an off-white, medium head. The body is clear with a rich amber/copper color. The aroma is sweet with hints of apple. The impression at the first sip is sweet. This gives way only a bit to some hops bitterness which gives some balance but leaves the beer firmly in the sweet category. It has no real lager snap at the end, just lingering hops. This actually makes the second sip more balanced than the first. There is some complexity and depth here but the flavors are very delicate. They are obliterated by the aggressive flavors of the Mexican food that Modelo is often served with making it a sweet balance to the savory and sometimes hot cuisine.

HOEGAARDEN

Style: Wheats, Fruits & Ciders | Bottle | ABV 4.9%

Hoegaarden is the authentic Belgian wheat or white beer. It has a unique and extremely complex brewing process whereby the brand is first top fermented and then is refermented within the bottle – ending up in a unique butty-white appearance. The brand’s unique appearance is mirrored by its one-of-a-kind taste – sweet and sour beer with a little bitterness, slightly spicy, with a strong touch of coriander and a hint of orange, perfect for warm summer days, instead of other refreshing beverages. Refreshing, a little quirky, and decidedly different – naturally.

DALE’S PALE ALE

Style: Pale Ales, Reds & Others | Bottle | ABV 6.5%

This style of beer tends to focus on the malts, but hop character can range from low to high. Expect a balanced beer, with toasted malt characters and a light fruitiness in most examples. The range can run from a basic ale, to American brewers who brew faux-Oktoberfest style beers that are actually ales instead of lagers.

PABST BLUE RIBBON

NEW BELGIUM 1554

Style: Porters, Stouts & Browns | Draught | ABV 5.6%

Born of a flood and centuries-old Belgian text, 1554 Enlightened Black Ale uses a lager yeast strain and dark chocolaty malts to redefine what dark beer can be. In 1997, a Fort Collins flood destroyed the original recipe our researcher, Phil Benstein, found in the library. So Phil and brewmaster, Peter Bouckaert, traveled to Belgium to retrieve this unique style lost to the ages. Their first challenge was deciphering antiquated script and outdated units of measurement, but trial and error (and many months of in-house sampling) culminated in 1554, a highly quaffable dark beer with a moderate body and mouthfeel.

ACE PEAR CIDER

Style: Wheats, Fruits & Ciders | Draught | ABV 5%

Ace Pear is made from a base of 100% pure, local apple juice. Pear essence is added to give the cider its distinctive pear taste; a taste so fresh and natural it is already proving as popular as its more traditional apple counterpart.

PINEY RIVER BLACK WALNUT

Style: Wheat | Draught | ABV 4.5%%

American style wheat beer with a black walnut aroma and a crisp, black walnut finish.

DESCHUTES FRESH SQUEEZED IPA

Style: IPA | Draught | ABV 6.4%%

A juicy citrus and grapefruit flavor profile. As if fresh Citra and Mosaic hops were squeezed straight into the bottle.
